Charles Groos
Charles Groos is one of the most experienced and prominent immigration lawyers in Canada. Born and raised in Canada, Charles graduated from the prestigious law school at the University of British Columbia in 1973.
After serving as a Crown Counsel for British Columbia and as a defense counsel appearing in all levels of courts of criminal jurisdiction in British Columbia, Charles served as a member (judge) of the Refugee Determination Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) of Canada from 1988 to 1994 (6 years).
Charles has represented hundreds of clients in resolving their immigration law problems in the 48 years of his law practice career, successfully pursuing cases in all divisions of the IRB, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal.
Charles and Munir have been friends and worked on many cases together since 1998.
